RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for managing a project and has ultimate responsibility for the performance of the project. 
• Champion safety on your projects and be a safety leader
• Participate in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling and implementation.
• Review the project in-depth to understand scope, schedule, costs and deliverables.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in construction management: 
• Knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods, construction details and relevant rules, regulations, safety and quality standards
• BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field
• Familiarity with construction management software packages such as Primavera, Strong Accubid skills and Blue Beam
• Ability to read & interpret construction drawings

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Cost accounting
• Construction accounting, reporting and analytical responsibilities
• Sales revenue accounting, including trade fund spending and analysis
• Fixed asset accounting, including sales tax and property tax
• General accounting, including bank reconciliations, month end close, journal entries, account analysis, and budgeting
• Worked with project managers and assisted with market analysis.
• Knowledge or growing knowledge of WIP and AIA billing/contracts.
• Credit evaluation

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration (Advanced degree and/or certification preferred)
• Computer Skills:  Proficient in MS Office, QuickBooks, Sage, Timberline, Yardi, and/or Procore.
• Showcase experience preferred
• Strong proficiency in Excel
• Prior work experience preferred (does not need to be related to college major)
• 1-2 years of prior experience required

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the Project Controls Manager in the implementation of project controls guidelines, processes, practices, performance analysis and reporting. Interface with Project Managers to orient, train and coach in project controls processes and tools as part of the implementation of project controls into the organization.
• Build bid schedules from plans and specifications
• Create, review, progress, monitor, analyze and resolve construction schedules with Project Managers and Field Supervisors; and develop work breakdown structures
• Review cost/resource loading and schedule activities including critical path method.
• Outline relationships, logic, deadlines, potential obstacles, and milestones for project schedules
• Monitor progress and costs on specific, assigned projects and provide timely and accurate reporting.
• Update schedules to reflect actual progress and delays or other impacts, updating actual starts, finishes and remaining durations, actual labor hours and associated costs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Basic working knowledge of construction processes and the Project Control field
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and Primavera software (especially P6). Prefer working knowledge of PENTA accounting software also.

• Provide accounting and finance services and leadership to our clients across a wide array of industries, including entrepreneurial small businesses.
• Provide internal support for our clients with day-to-day accounting duties and provide oversight and strategic direction in financial decisions.
• Management and oversight of the production and presentation of financial statements and results.
• Build and expand relationships with clients and community contacts, contributing to the overall growth of the Columbus office and the firm.
• Develop and maintain insightful analytical reports.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 10+ years of Accounting Management experience including current or recent experience in Public Accounting.
• Strong accounting software skills, including QuickBooks (required). 
• Proven ability to lead a team, execute on strategy and develop team members.
